The Garden and the Wilderness producer Stephanie Huettner and writer/director Craig Whitney flew to Los Angeles this week to present their film at the Directors Guild of America for the Houston Film Commission's Texas Filmmaker's Showcase.
Many thanks to Alfred Cervantes, Rick Ferguson, and the Houston Film Commission for their hospitality this weekend in Los Angeles. It was a privilege to take part in the Texas Filmmaker's Showcase and to present The Garden and the Wilderness for all of the members of the Texas and Hollywood filmmaking communities that were in attendance at the DGA.
Congratulations are in order to the filmmakers behind Vultures of Tibet, Hellion, Little Lions, Vincent Valdez: Excerpts for John, and Cork's Cattlebarron, which were also presented at the Showcase. It is an honor to have been featured alongside such an impressive array of filmmakers, and we look forward to seeing more of your excellent work in the future.
