The Garden and the Wilderness will make its southern Texas premiere next month at the South Texas Underground Film Festival, which will run in Corpus Christi from October 3-6. The screening will take place on Friday, October 4 at 9:00 PM at the Art Center of Corpus Christi.
All screenings at the South Texas Underground Film Festival are free and open to the public. VIP passes (which include access to the festival's mixers, after parties, and other events) are currently available online.
The Garden and the Wilderness will appear in Corpus Christi along with five other films selected by the Houston Film Commission for its 2013 Texas Filmmaker's Showcase. Other honorees for this year's Showcase program include Student Academy Award-nominee Vultures of Tibet and Hellion, which premiered in 2012 at the Sundance Film Festival.
