The Garden and the Wilderness will make its San Antonio premiere this weekend as part of a special screening of the Texas Filmmaker's Showcase. The screening takes place at the Santikos Bijou Cinema Bistro at noon on Saturday, October 19th. Tickets for the screening are just $5 and can be purchased at the door.
The Texas Filmmaker's Showcase features a program of some of the year's best short films by Texas filmmakers. In addition to The Garden and the Wilderness, this year's program includes the documentary Vultures of Tibet, which was nominated for a Student Academy Award, and Hellion, which was recently made into a feature film starring Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad.
