Better Archangel Pictures is pleased to announce that The Garden and the Wilderness will make its Houston premiere this Fall at the Houston Cinema Arts Festival (HCAF). The festival will take place November 6-10 in downtown Houston. Screening times and locations will be posted as they are announced by the festival.
The Garden and the Wilderness will be screened at HCAF along with the five other films that were selected by the Houston Film Commission for its 2013 Texas Filmmaker's Showcase. Other works included in the 2013 Showcase program include Student Academy Award nominee Vultures of Tibet and Hellion, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012.
HCAF is organized by the Houston Cinema Arts Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting innovative films, media installations, and performances that celebrate the artistic process and enrich Houston’s culture and urban vitality. As in the past, the 2013 HCAF will be a “walkable” event, featuring theaters within easy access of Houston's Metro Rail Red Line, including Sundance Cinemas Houston and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH).
